Madison and Austin were married at Roeton Baptist Church on December 21st, 2019, with the reception at the Emporium in Troy, Alabama. This wedding was very special to me because not only was I the planner but I was also a bridesmaid. For her wedding design, Madison wanted to keep everything minimal and fresh. Even though they were getting married in December, she did not want a red and green Christmas wedding. We asked Madison a few questions for her to share more with you about her big day. See below for more of what she had to say!
lauralece 827: What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
Madison: My favorite part of the wedding day was hands down marrying my best friend. Austin and I have dated for six years so our wedding was a long time coming, haha. Although, having all of our friends and family there with their support and love is a close second!
lauralece 827: What will you always remember from your big day?
Madison: Austin and I decided to opt out of doing a first look and keep things more traditional (this was one of the best decisions we made). I will always remember the doors of the church opening and me walking down the aisle to my forever and finally seeing my groom on our special day.
lauralece 827: What part of the wedding planning process was your favorite?
Madison: I absolutely LOVED all the design things come together on the day of! As for the planning part, I left everything up to Con and my mom, haha. The logistics were not fun to me, but all the design and the selecting of things was fun.
lauralece 827: Anything else you would like to share about your wedding or experience with lauralece 827?
Madison: Connor is the greatest person & planner there is!🖤 Couldn’t have got married without her by my side (quite literally, lol, because bridesmaid duties) or without her making sure the day went by so smoothly. She’s the best investment there is!
Madison and I go all the way back to the K-grade! I remember when she and Austin met and her talking about him in our high school computer class. After we graduated high school, Madison and Austin went to college together and followed the other everywhere, and now the rest is history. I will forever cherish getting to help my best friend during her engagement season.
